What it is about

At the Convento Ceremony, we gather at Il Convento for several days. There are workshops, movement, meditation, music and time for conversation, as well as space simply to be and rediscover your own rhythm.
What moves me about this gathering is the togetherness. You do not need any particular skill or a special version of yourself. You can arrive with curiosity and discover what unfolds for you in this group and place.
Why Ceremony?
More than a festival.
In 2027, the festival has consciously become a Ceremony. We begin and end these days together-not as an audience for separate events, but as people entering a shared process.
The structure is thoughtful without being crowded: workshops with experienced guides, movement, stillness, music and time for one another all interweave. In a small group, individual encounters can gradually grow into familiarity.
It is not about taking in as much as possible. Instead, the workshops, daily life, music and encounters can grow into a shared process.
The place
Il Convento is part of it.
The old walls, garden and Lunigiana landscape are more than a backdrop. Shady spots, shared meals and paths across the grounds give our time together a different quality.
The Ceremony grew out of this place and the people around it. My sister and I started the gathering together; today, I especially look forward to new people joining and helping shape it.
